Frankfurt (pop. 650,000) in germanys banking center and HQ of the European Central Bank. It is host of the worlds biggest book fair and comes with the largest airport of the country. The cityscape is dominated by the impressive skyline of skyscrapers. Nevertheless it has kept its charme with cosy pubs and old architecture. The stadium has been completely renewed for the world cup and has been the venue for the Confed Cup, the World cup warm up event in 2005.
